The course offers in-depth instruction on filtration, disinfection, water testing and treatment, design considerations, facility management, risk management, facility troubleshooting and much more!

The Aquatic Facility Operator Certification Course is a training program specifically intended to meet the needs of those working in public and semi-public recreation pool or waterpark facilities. The AFO program offers a unique discussion of risk management, not usually offered to operations personnel.

Become nationally certified as an AFO and receive a certificate of completion suitable for framing. This 16-hour course features the Aquatic Facility Operator Manual, one of the most respected publications available on pool operations. This text is not only understandable, you will enjoy reading it and it can be used as a reference on day-to-day operations. The text can be sent to you in advance for a small extra charge.

Certification:
Upon successful completion of the AFO course and exam, participants will be officially certified by the National Certification Board of NRPA. Certification is valid for three years and is renewable.

This course is offered at various times and locations during the year and is presented by Lincoln in conjunction with NRPA Aquatic Section.
