STARK HORIZONTAL HIGH RATE SAND FILTER — STARK 5S2-50M-10 FILTER, SEMI-AUTOMATIC — Filament wound, composite filter tanks with end manway and top connections for ease of assembly and service. 60" diameter tanks are designed for a maximum operating pressure of 75 psi with a maximum burst safety factor of 4 to 1. Gel coat fiberglass tank lining is filament wound with continuous fiberglass strand. Horizontal design maximizes filter area square footage and provides a deeper filter bed depth than other horizontal high rate sand filters. Multi-spray head diverters and full width laterals result in long filtration cycles and maximize backwashing effectiveness. Vessels finished with Paracote UV resistant coating, for added protection. Available in single tank and multiple tank configurations. Completely non-corrosive systems withstand the effects of pool water chemistry, electrolysis, and corrosion. 15 Year Limited Warranty.
5S STYLE SYSTEMS include: Front mounted manhole with viewport, influent/effluent pressure gauges, pre-glued Schedule 80 PVC face piping with flanged connections, water activated backwash valves, semi-automatic multiport backwash valve, manual air relief ball valves, and media dump port.
